Below are some easy fixes that you can use for removing almost every type of minor scratch from your favourite gadget.
But before we start, always remember to shut down your device before trying any of these methods. Also, seal all the ports with tape so as to protect against any liquid leakage.
- Creams used for car scratch removal
Using any of the car scratch removal creams, you can remove as well as minimize the risk of scratch from your mobile phones. All you need to do is take a small quantity of this cream on a clean cloth and wipe the screen gently and softly. There are lots of car scratch removal creams that you can choose from.
Make sure to use actual toothpaste, not the ones that are gel- based. Take a small amount of this toothpaste onto a soft, clean cloth or cotton swab. Now gently swirl this onto your device’s screen until you notice all that all the scratches are gone. Once this is done, take a slightly dampened cloth and wipe off all the extra toothpaste from your device.
- Baby powder
Simply adding water to a small amount of baby powder will give you the scratch- removal formula for your device’s screen. For creating the paste, take one part water in a bowl and add two parts of baby powder into it. Stir the mixture until it becomes smooth. Now take some of this paste onto a cotton swab/ clean cloth and gently rub the screen. After this, take a slightly dampened cloth to remove all traces of the paste from your device.
- Drill grinders/ Sand paper
This may sound a little rough to be tried out on your mobile phones, but you will be surprised to know that rubbing sand paper onto the uneven surface of your phone can actually help in removing all scuffs and scratches. This method works best for removing scratches from the back cover of your device. Make sure to use the most soft and abrasive kind of sand paper for this purpose and always be gentle. Otherwise you can actually multiply the number of scratches which are already present.
- Baking soda
Here’s another usability of this wonder powder. When you mix two parts of baking soda with one part of water, what you get is a great solution for removing the scratches from your device’s screen and body.
- Vegetable oil
Vegetable oil can remove all the small and minor scratches from your phone temporarily. Simply put a drop of vegetable oil on the screen and you are ready to go.
